Our Enhanced Matching feature increases your opportunities to connect with students by expanding the types of tutor requests you may receive.
When this feature is enabled at your school, you may now be considered for relevant requests outside of the courses you have taken at your institution. The system can now recognize when your academic background aligns with courses that are similar to those requested by students.
When a tutor request is submitted, the system will first look for tutors with an exact course match. If needed, it will then expand the search and invite tutors who have closely related courses on their profile. This is made possible by an intelligence layer that processes course catalogs and identifies similarities based on course names, numbers, and departments.
You may receive requests for courses that are similar to ones you’ve taken, and you can decide whether you feel comfortable accepting them. Enhanced Matching does not create automatic pairings—both you and the student retain full control in determining whether a session is a good fit.
