Instant Booking allows eligible session requests to be automatically confirmed without requiring tutor approval. This feature reduces scheduling delays and help students to secure available sessions immediately after submission.
To use Instant Booking, tutors must first set up their weekly availability schedule. This allows students to book sessions during the times tutors have indicated they're available.
Without an existing schedule, Instant Booking cannot be enabled.
Enabling Instant Booking
To enable this feature, navigate to Tutoring Preferences.
Turn on Instant Booking.
Save your changes.
Once enabled, eligible sessions that meet Instant Booking requirements will be confirmed automatically when submitted by a student.
Instant Booking Requirements
Not every booking request qualifies for Instant Booking. A session may be automatically confirmed when it is scheduled during the tutor's available hours, does not conflict with an existing session, and meets all applicable booking requirements. Same-day sessions are not eligible for Instant Booking.
For online sessions, there are no location restrictions for Instant Booking. For in-person sessions, Instant Booking is only available at approved Suggested Locations selected by the tutor. Sessions scheduled at custom addresses entered by students will still require the tutor's review and approval.
