You will need to upload your entire transcript as a PDF file to show proficiency in courses from your current college. The transcript must have your name on it, as shown on your Knack account.

To be approved for the courses you add, you must have taken that specific course at your current college and received an acceptable grade in it (depending on your university's grade requirements). You can find these requirements by clicking the relevant program in the Programs page.

Every time you add a new course, you'll be prompted to resubmit your transcript.

FAQs

Where can I find my transcript as a PDF file?

The digital file your university provides when requesting your transcript is most likely already in the PDF format, so all you need to do is save it to your device. To do that, follow these instructions:

When opening your transcript in your browser, on Windows:

  1. Click on the 'File' menu at the top-left of your screen.

  2. Then click on 'Print' near the bottom of the drop-down menu.

  3. In the window that pops up, select 'Microsoft Print To PDF' in the drop-down menu under Printer.

  4. A Save Print Output As window will pop up. Select the location where you would like to save your transcript and confirm the name for the file. Click the 'Save' button in the lower-right corner of the pop-up. Your transcript will be saved as a PDF file in the location you specified.

On Mac:

  1. Click on the 'File' menu at the top-left of your screen.

  2. Then click on 'Print' near the bottom of the drop-down menu.

  3. In the window that pops up, select 'Save as PDF' from the Destination menu and then click 'Save' at the lower-right corner of the pop-up window.
โ€‹Alternatively: click on the 'PDF' button in the lower-left corner of the print dialog box (if you don't see this option, look for and click on 'Print' using system dialog). A pop-up menu will open. Click on 'Save as PDF' near the top of the pop-up menu.

  4. Either of the options above will open a new window that will allow you to select the location where you would like to save your transcript, and confirm the name for the file. Click the 'Save' button in the lower-right corner of the pop-up. Your transcript will be saved as a PDF file in the location you specified.

Can I upload an unofficial transcript?

Yes you can!

Can I upload images instead of a PDF file?

Also possible. We can accept screenshots of your transcript in jpeg or png format, as long as all of the required info is clearly visible.
