Before you can start receiving Tutor Requests notifications and session requests from students, you must first have active tutoring courses on your profile. An active tutoring course is defined as a course in which you meet all of the requirements to tutor. These requirements are set by your school and may include (but are not limited to): minimum grade requirement or training requirement. The more active courses you have, the more frequently you will connect with students!

To learn more about those requirements, head to your Programs page, click on the Tutor tab to display your tutor programs, then click on the program of interest, and finally check out the Conditions section.

After clicking "Become a Tutor", you will be prompted to submit your transcript (or other applicable verification files) to prove your proficiency. Upon uploading your files, you will be asked to add to your profile one of the courses you would like to tutor. We will add the rest of the courses you're eligible to tutor based on your verification files.

Head to your Profile → Tutoring Courses. Here, you can add new courses, disable courses, and remove courses.
